Welcome to the West Oxfordshire Play Rangers

The overall aim of this project is to promote the use of local play spaces and to provide children and young people with a chance to explore new challenges and have lots of fun outdoors. We look forward to welcoming many of you to our sessions.

• Children are free to come and go as they please (open access scheme)


• Parents/carers remain responsible for their children at all times.


• All ages welcome (children under 5 should be accompanied by an adult)


• Parents/carers are very welcome to join in.


• Play isn’t always clean and dry, so wear something suitable.


• All Play Ranger staff are CRB checked


• Sessions will take place in any weather but from time to time we may need to cancel them.

Oxfordshire Play Association are managing this play ranger project within West Oxfordshire and are working in partnership with West Oxfordshire District Council.
