Playwork Manager

We need an experienced and enthusiastic manager for our busy holiday camp based at Cherwell School in North Oxford who can also help set up and manage an after school club in the Oxford Area.

Candidates must have a Level 3 NVQ in Playwork or the equivalent and have plenty of experience of organising children’s activities and managing staff. Due to the location of the Oxford Active office and new after school club, the candidate will need to have their own transport.
The hours of this post will be 25 hours a week during term time and up to 50 hours a week during school holidays.

Part-time Playworker needed for

Oxford After-School Club

We are a friendly local pre-school looking for a part-time playworker to join our excellent After-School Club team. This post will be for 13 hours per week during term-time (Monday to Thursday 3.00pm to 6.15pm), but candidates who can also work full days during our Holiday Playschemes will be preferred.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, creative and reliable, with an excellent understanding of children’s needs in a play setting, and should already have the Level 3 qualification in Playwork or hold the Early Years Childcare & Development qualification to Level 3 or above (as defined as full & relevant by CWDC) and willing to extend their training & qualification to include Playwork.
Salary will be £8.75/hr.
